ADMIR is a French start-up specializing in innovative data analysis solutions. ADMIR specializes in providing advanced data analysis solutions, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets. For MILADO, ADMIR will bring its skills and know-how in the analysis instrumentation fabrication and assembling for R&D and health applications and provide guidelines in designing, manufacturing and assembling the new Si-QCL chips for these applications and demonstrate a tissue classification in pathology.
Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives, FRANCE
The Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA) is a renowned French government-funded research organisation. CEA focuses on nuclear energy, renewable energy, and technological research. CEA is the Scientific Lead of MILADO and is responsible for designing and fabricating the QCL devices, as well as the optical functions required for the PICs and for the silicon nanopattering for the direct epigrowth of QCL heterostructures on Si.

Eclypia (ECL) is a company specializing in advanced software solutions for the industrial sector. The company is focused on developing innovative applications that leverage cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity in various industrial operations. For MILADO, ECL brings its expertise in the development of mid-infrared sensing techniques for medical applications, in particular non-invasive quantitative analysis of biomarkers such as glycemia in human body.
Fraunhofer Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angwandten Forschung EV, GERMANY
Fraunhofer IAF, as part of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung eV., focuses on the development of innovative technologies in the field of III-V semiconductor materials for electronic and optoelectronic devices with applications spanning across various high-tech industries. Within MILADO Fraunhofer IAF acts as the Technical Leader of the project and is responsible for the heterostructure design and technological upscale of the epitaxial QCL wafer growth, including the direct growth on silicon. IAF will also integrate and package the PICs and QCL devices.
Gasera OY, FINLAND
Gasera OY (GAS) is a Finnish company specializing in the development and production of cutting-edge gas measurement instruments and systems. They focus on providing highly sensitive and accurate gas analysis solutions using advanced technologies. For MILADO GAS brings in their expertise in high-end MIR gas sensor, especially their knowledge in the medical gas analysis and is leading the demonstration of the four use cases with key contributions in the waste anesthetic gas sensing.
RECENDT – Research Center for Non-Destructive Testing GmbH, AUSTRIA
The Research Center for Non-Destructive Testing GmbH (RECENDT) is a leading research institution based in Austria. RECENDT specializes in the development and application of non-destructive testing methods, which are used to analyse the properties of materials, components, and structures without causing any damage. To MILADO, RECENDT contributes its expertise in the development of mid-infrared sensor techniques and develops a fully Si-based edge-sensor for industrial process monitoring based on novel Si QCL technology.
